Who these terms are between

These terms are an agreement between you and Paywall Parity, the operator of the Paywall Parity service. By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you use the service for a company or another organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms on its behalf.

Dodo Payments acts as merchant of record for paid transactions and may appear as the seller on your receipt or payment statement.

The service

Paywall Parity imports permitted Google Play catalogue information, calculates regional pricing recommendations, lets authorised users review proposed changes, and can publish specifically approved changes where live publishing is enabled. Revenue integrations provide directional operational context, not accounting, tax, investment, or guaranteed revenue advice.

Importing, calculating, previewing, or approving a recommendation does not itself modify your store. Publishing is a separate action and the service attempts to verify writes by reading the resulting store state.

Accounts and authority

• You must be able to enter into a binding agreement, provide accurate account information, and protect your access credentials.
• You may connect only stores, applications, catalogues, and revenue sources that you are authorised to administer.
• The account owner controls billing. Workspace roles may allow other authorised users to review or operate parts of the service, and you are responsible for what they do there.
• You are responsible for reviewing proposed prices, taxes, store rules, and commercial consequences before publishing.

Plans, trials, and additional capacity

Current plan prices, billing cadence, included active-app capacity, and additional app-block pricing are shown before checkout. Paid plans are subscriptions that renew until cancelled. Annual plans and annual capacity add-ons are charged annually; monthly plans and add-ons are charged monthly.

The introductory trial provides publishing access for one app for one month. When a trial or paid entitlement ends, data may remain available under the Free plan while publishing and excess apps become read-only. Cancelling Paywall Parity does not reverse prices already published to a store.

Billing and cancellation

Dodo Payments processes payments, applicable indirect taxes, invoices, and refunds as merchant of record. We do not receive or store your full card number. You can cancel or manage an active subscription through the billing portal. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid period, unless a refund ends it earlier.

Acceptable use

You must not:

• use the service unlawfully or to access another person’s account or data;
• circumvent plan limits, security controls, or provider permissions;
• interfere with the service, probe it without permission, or introduce malicious code;
• use automated access in a way that degrades the service or violates a provider’s terms; or
• misrepresent recommendations or directional revenue observations as guaranteed outcomes.

Your data and credentials

You retain rights in the catalogue, pricing, and workspace data you provide. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, and transmit that data to operate the service. Store credentials are used only for the permissions and operations you authorise. Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.

Our service and your feedback

We retain all rights in the service itself, including its software, design, documentation, and the methods used to produce recommendations. These terms give you a right to use the service while your account is in good standing; they do not transfer ownership of any part of it. If you send us suggestions, we may use them to improve the service without owing you anything for them.

Service changes and third-party providers

We may improve, replace, or discontinue features. We will give reasonable notice when a material change adversely affects a paid plan, unless an urgent security or provider change requires immediate action.

The service depends on external providers, including Google Play, RevenueCat, and Dodo Payments. They operate under their own terms and may change their interfaces, rules, or availability independently of us. Your use of those providers remains subject to your agreements with them.

Warranties and liability

We provide the service with reasonable care, but recommendations depend on source data, exchange rates, provider behaviour, and the settings you choose. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability, revenue improvement, or a particular store outcome.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Otherwise, our aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid for the service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss to the extent that limitation is permitted.

Suspension and termination

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, providers, or the service; respond to unlawful activity; address non-payment; or investigate a material breach. You may stop using the service and cancel your subscription at any time. Clauses intended to survive termination, including payment, ownership, and liability provisions, continue to apply.

Resolving a concern

If something goes wrong, contact us first at support@paywallparity.com and we will try in good faith to resolve it with you directly. Nothing in these terms limits any mandatory rights you have where you live.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms and will publish the new effective date here. Material changes to paid service terms will be communicated through the service or your account email before they take effect where reasonably possible. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

General

These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, are the whole agreement between us about the service. If any part of them cannot be enforced, the rest continues to apply. A delay in enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your account to someone else without our agreement.
